Dear Doug:
I just wanted to tell you that I am so
delighted with your writings. I am quoting your explanations on
prophecies concerning the Revelation. I must tell you that your
views on the Antichrist’s appearance in the “Temple of God” are the
best explanations I've ever read. It is the way you put it; with
natural Israel and the physical temple
"hieron" and then shifting the focus to "naos," that
made it so clear.
I'm a born-again Jew...I've been saved
since I was 29 and just turned 59. From the day I was saved, I knew
God was telling me to enlighten the Gentile Christian Church regarding
the love God still carries for Natural Israel
and the need for them to "provoke Israel
to jealousy."
As a result, I was called into a youth ministry that started out as
a Cambodian mission and has since grown to encompassing quite a few
nations. My passion for teaching led me to make a PowerPoint
presentation on Revelation, for youth that would be "Star Wars" enough
to attract their attention. I promised to send a copy of it to G. M.,
to use for his church's youth group. I just wanted to tweak it a
little more first before I send it.
The research for this is what led me to The Tribulation Network
website and thus my discovery of your and Dene's fascinating writing.
I completely believe that Israel is
God's time piece and all these things shall be fulfilled as they are
written. This generation is the one that will see the bulk of it come
to pass.
Thanks for your
passion for the Gospel and desire to spread it.

P.S. I still run
into church people that are very evangelical yet can't see the stuff
coming. That is something I still don't get...do you?
Response to D.V.
by Doug Krieger:
Thank you Donna for your keen
interest and desire to follow the Lord with all your heart. Of
interest is your evangelical Cambodian connection--do you know of a
Doug Paradise? He has for years had a ministry in Southeast Asia,
based in Cambodia.
What part of the country do you live in? We're here in
Sacramento, CA. Perhaps we know of
brethren in your area who may be in contact with us and, if you are
interested, we can get them in touch with you?
The blindness and indifference afflicting the Church astounds. In
particular, the purpose-driven madness to condescend to the least
uncommon denominator in the post-modern era wherein an
intoxicating relativism abounds--unity at any price, especially the
price of the prophetic Scriptures. This has immediate implications
for National Israel's demise and, ultimately, a raw hatred toward
all things Jewish. Why? Because the spirit of Antichrist which is
in the world hates the Sanctuary and all those connected thereto!
Heaven and earth bear witness of His eternal plan and purpose - this
is the ultimate battle between Messiah and the Anti-Messiah, between
Christ and Antichrist, between the Resurrected Son of Man and the
Man of Sin!
Psalm 2 comes into perspective: "Why do the Gentiles rage and
imagine a vain thing - they know not that they gather against the
Lord and His Messiah, His Anointed One!" That is what is at issue
here; make no mistake about it - for when they gather against
Jerusalem, they amass against the
Lord Himself and THEY KNOW NOT!
Dear sister - may the Lord continue to enlighten you in this
end-times' struggle - for you, a child twice-born of His favor may
find that your cause is doubly needed and bears the greater
consternation of him who has but a little time to affect his woe.
Perchance, we will benefit from Eagle's Wings to hide us from the
wrath to come - but most certainly from the Wrath of the Lamb! We
are in His hands . . .
Again, God bless and keep during the days before us and give you
unfettered ability to communicate the Revelation to youth who must
carry the torch of truth to the nations.

D.V. Response to
Doug
Thanks for your
quick response. We are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The name of Doug
Paradise sounds somehow slightly familiar, but I can't make the
connection. If he is near us, it would be a good idea to make the
connections with anyone who is of like mind in the Gospel. So,
thank you for any contacts you can think of in this part of the
world. When you used the term, "purpose driven madness," was that
any connection to the fired up "purpose driven life" thing by Rich
Warren? I ask because I keep hearing it everywhere from some dear
people I've been working with...and I was going to do a little
research into the basics of it, because it sounds like it goes off
somewhere...Yet I don't know enough about it to comment. I have heard
some of my colleagues say it sounds like pretty good stuff. My
question about it is this: Does the purpose that it drives you to
ignite the evangelical fire to reach others for (Yeshua) Jesus? Or
is it to make a nice life with prosperity as the focus? It's nice to
have what you need to preach the Gospel, but there are those who have
nothing; know not where they will lie their heads at night, or just
completely walk by faith. This to me is our "purpose"....period.
And if you are
ever in the area, you are more than welcome to stay in our home
(provided you can handle having your brain picked by a couple of
maniacs for Christ).
Peace, Blessing
and Joy to you and yours,
D.V. - this is Doug Krieger - Dene
and I normally exchange e-mails if appropriate - and I received
yours.
Of course you may use any and all items on the Revelation, Daniel,
etc. I have written "here and there" about Revelation; however, I
am doing a systematic work on the text and have several portions
which only, unfortunately, go through the first couple of
verses--but somewhat thoroughly. Also, I have written extensively
regarding Revelation 11 and other portions as you will notice; this
work is way overdue to the Body of Christ and for the coming of
Messiah.
However, all that said, I am deeply intrigued by your work in the
inner city - which city? Also, for your consumption, I am
exceedingly involved in working with at risk - and/or our most
"marginalized youth" - which work is actually very extensive and to
avoid the maintenance of some confidentiality, I simply share that
passion with you. As you know, we are "at war" in the inner city
and scores of these young people have greatly suffered at the hands
of a system that has so marginalized them.
We do not trumpet our works because ours is the exaltation of the
Savior - that said does not mean we do not wholly embrace Paul's
admonition to keep the following posture before our Lord:
"I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. Yes, you
yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities,
and for those who were with me. I have shown you in every way, by
laboring like this, that YOU MUST SUPPORT THE WEAK. And remember
the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'it is more blessed to
give than to receive.'" (Acts 20:33-35).
Notwithstanding our personal and willing entanglement with the
weak--and all levels and in many ways--we are, nevertheless,
appalled at today's inclusion of the "social gospel" as part and
parcel of the gospel of the grace of God--such works of kindness and
self-sacrifice have little to do with one's salvation--but are a
demonstration of His grace in us to others, that is most certain,
but to preach it, is not the "Everlasting Gospel" of the Grace of
our Lord Jesus Christ--WE PREACH CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED - that's
it, and nothing else, the works will follow and are commendable but
they are not the "Gospel of the Kingdom" and should never replace
the Person and Work of Christ Himself - "God forbid that I should
glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ!"
God bless you as you follow Him in all things and "whatever you do
in word or deed do all to the glory of God."

Your site is Wow!
I'm doing a
presentation of Revelation that has led me to some really neat sites,
but yours knocked my socks off!
I already have
approximately 350 slides and I am using the Nelson Study Bible notes
to lay out my annotation, cross-referencing Old Testament and New
Testament scripture, commentators like Donald Grey Barnhouse and
Clarence Larkin. I have found your writings so intriguing and full of
passion. My presentation is for the purpose of teaching inner city
youth that the time for action is now. I would like to quote some of
your stuff and I want permission. This is not a "for profit"
presentation. It is for preaching the Gospel and scholarly purposes.
I would be happy to send you a copy when it is complete.
Would you mind my
using you as a source?
Thank you,
D. V.
